A Katha Hijo Ko episode is more than an interview. We travel to the elder’s community, spend time building trust, record the conversation and everyday surroundings, bring the material home safely, then edit and preserve it for the future.
Why three field days?
The interview is one day. Preserving it takes more.
The team needs enough time for travel, trust, a full interview, environmental footage and a safe return with the recordings.
2 Day two
Recording the story
Full oral-history interview, two-camera recording, professional sound, portraits, everyday surroundings and B-roll that gives the testimony a sense of place.
3 Day three
Bringing the history home
Return travel with the recorded material. After the field trip come backups, transcription, editing, sound work, subtitles where needed and long-term preservation.
